Campaign Story
Jessica, a 23 years old girl who needs your help urgently.
Jessica lived a normal and happy life, modelling, going out with friends and studying for her degree in management at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
In June 2017, when on holiday in Italy with her boyfriend Andrea, she started fainting and feeling pain in her chest.
After
staying 5 days at the hospital, we have run some further tests and it
was discovered that Jessica had a large mass within the wall of her
heart and further diagnostics were needed. We immediately went back to
the UK where she was transferred to the Addenbrooke's Hospital. Once at
Addenbrooke Jessica suffered two episodes of Ventricular Tachycardia
and immediately needed to be sedated and shocked to bring her heart back
into a normal rhythm. It was discovered that Jessica has a Cardiac
Fibroma in her heart.
This means that she has a mass in the
left side of her heart, which is almost as large as the heart
itself! This type of tumor is placing Jessica at risk of heart arythmias
which are extremely life threatening.
Jessica is now unable to live a normal life, she is suffering and not only because of the constant fear of experiencing a heart attack but also for the fear of not being able to be cured.
The NHS is unable to offer surgery to Jessica due to the lack of specific equipment.
We are desperate to raise funds to take Jessica to the United States where she can have a specific treatment from a private clinic where the chance of surviving are over 95%.
Please help Jessica and we will always be thankful for your kind gesture...
