Campaign Story
Sauwa sauwa friends and family,
So here is what I'm going to do:
I want to put myself in the shoes of African women, children and families in one aspect of their lives. As the average distance an African woman walks to collect water is 6 km, I will be walking this distance with two 20 litre jerry cans in the blistering heat of Uganda.
I aim to raise 5000 Euro for Ugandan children, to provide them with the means to gain access to a full education. This will give them more opportunities in the future as well as improving their families' livelihoods.
Lack of education for vulnerable children is a common theme throughout the villages in Uganda. From school fees to books, many children are not receiving the basic form of education, needed to develop themselves.
To keep you updated on this challenge, I will be posting training photos, personal stories of the vulnerable families, some "inspirational" quotes and evidence of me finishing (if I make it).
Thank you in advance for the donations made, every little helps. You will be changing the lives of many Ugandan children and families.
Weebale muno muno muno!!!
