Campaign Story
Our needed amount of funding has went down, since we have unfortunately found out that the VIP tickets are sold out. I still want to get him to the concert, and I'm hoping that we get enough funding to buy some good seats. Spread the word guys! Im trying to get KISS FM involved with us, so if you can try to contact them, it would be a HUGE help. Bless you guys!
My name is Bethany Hernandez and I am going to start raising money to send my yougner brother, Jeremy, to a Selena Gomez concert on November 3rd, 2013. Jeremy, 13, has a neurological disorder called Dystonia. Jeremy had brain surgery on January 31st, 2013 to place a device, called a Deep Brain Stimulator, in his head. A week later, on February 6th 2013, he had the second part of the surgery to place a generator in his chest, then wires were placed to lead them from the chest generator to the brain stimulator.
He has had a little bit of improvement, he is no longer having as many painful muscle spasms, known as writer's cramp, in his hands.
Jeremy is a huge Selena Gomez fan, and I, as his sister, want to make what he calls his 'dream' come true. He has always called Selena his 'girlfriend', ever since first seeing her on Wizards of Waverly Place. He says that he is 'in love' with her.
If you could help us make his dream come true, I would be so grateful. He is an awesome kid who deserves this. Thank you and bless you.
