Jenny + Kristin’s IVF

Dear friends, family and to anyone who reads this,

First of all - thank you. Thank you for your continued support throughout this process, which is starting to become one of the hardest things we have had to go through in life. This journey that we are on is so full of hope and heartbreak and all the feelings in between, that we are at this point exhausted and sad. But we have not given up! The IVF we did in March resulted in three eggs, where one was fertilised but where the egg after just one day stopped dividing and could not grow further. This was devastating news, especially after having had to go through almost two weeks of 22 injections and an egg outtake under anaesthesia. We are now at a point where the doctor suggested to try another IVF in a natural cycle, which means we will check Kristin's eggs every month until they seem good enough to go for hormone treatment to set in.

It has been a really tough month, physically but mostly mentally. And we have hesitated to start another fundraiser, but we really can't do without the help. We are applying for the €800 we might be able to get from the city of Berlin, but with the total of over €13.000 spent the past 1.5 years, with almost half of that donated by YOU, we are reaching out yet again to get any minimal help you can give. Any small amount will help in the end, and it would also help a lot to get this fundraiser spread.
