Jennifer’s College Tuition

My name is Jennifer Coull, I graduated last year with a 3.7 GPA from Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce, FL. I am now enrolled as a undergraduate Freshmen at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. I chose Guilford college because it is environmentally friendly, and health cautious which is a very important factor in my life. I plan on majoring in exercise to become a pediatric nutritionist, to hopefully one day end childhood obesity. I also chose Guilford because I was recruited to play on their college soccer team. I have been playing soccer since I was was five years old and have dreamed about playing in college , and with my hard work and dedication I now have the opportunity to make that dream a reality. The tuition for me to attend Guilford is $47,000.00 per academic year. Unfortunately I was not awarded with the full amount of financial aid even though according to FAFSA my financial need base was the full $47,000.00 because my (EFC) estimated family contribution was $.00. I've applied for multiple scholarships but have not been very successful. I can't get approved for a student loan because I have no credit history, and my parents are unable to cosign because of their bed credit. At this point I am very worried that my parents won't be able to afford for me to attend Guilford, but the only thing I can really do is think positive and hope for the best.
