Campaign Story
Last year March my daughter Jemma became very ill and she was not correctly diagnosed until 8 months later, she tested positive for Glandular fever and had a recurring tonsillitis infection. It tooks me months to get her a booking for an operation to have her tonsils removed at a Government hospital, finally 4 days before Christmas they were removed. We were told that she should improve, that her body will not be constantly poisoned, however that was not the case and she has numerous kidney infections. With all of this my daughter has missed so much school, and I have battled for over a year with her high school to assist me with homework and to try and keep up, she has been kept back a grade and with no help from them I feel I have no other option but to homeschooling my child. I am a single Mom and even though I am hard working, I cannot afford the homeschooling fees, please help me educate my daughter, she is a smart and talented girl and dersves a brighter future.
