After School Program startup fundraiser

It's an exciting time here at Janet Lange Art & Design! If you haven't been downtown this summer, you might not have noticed the brand new beautiful green sign just west of Division St! That's right! Janet finally has a brick and mortar studio to call home for her amazing business!

There is such a buzz of excitement going on with extensive renovations, as well as planning of classes and workshops for artists of ALL AGES!

One of the many services we are hoping to offer at the studio is a fun, creative, inviting location for kids aged 7 and up to come for an afterschool artsy free for all! We want to provide supplies for certain projects and let the kids spill out their creative juices and extra energy that has been pent up in the class room.

Our hope is to keep this service one that is reasonably priced for parents, but still well stocked for these budding artists, without having to pass on the cost of our initial inventory purchase. We want to be able to supply the staples (markers, crayons, pencils, paper, scissors, glue etc) as well as more exciting items (who knows!) so that their imagination is truly the limit!

If we can raise over our goal, we will be able to consider offering spaces for deserving children who would otherwise not be able to afford to come to such an exciting after school opportunity.

Despite all of our best efforts, the cost of renovations and getting the studio up and running, our finances have been stretched thin. So, without the help of amazing people like yourself, we might not be able to provide affordable programming to inspire our youth to find their own creativity, their artistic voice, a glimpse into a gentler, kinder world that only the arts can provide. Even a donation as small as $5 would make a huge difference in a child's life here in our community.

So please! Help us invite and encourage the creative ingenuity of our children in Clarington, and help create some amazing memories!
