JD’s Wellness Fund

Hello everyone.  I'm the proud and loving friend of an amazing dog named JD.  He's a male 10 years old Yellow Lab Mix.  I got him as a puppy, back when work was plentyfull and I was doing alright financially.  Over the past few years, alot has happened including a serious back injury, bankruptcy, my career crumbled and I now work for minimum wage.   For 3-4 years now JD has moderate to severe Atopic Dermititis which requires medication (Vanectyl) everyday.  This was very serious pre-diagnosis but if that wasn't bad enough, last year JD tore his ACL.  He now has a stiffle knee (lameness) and associated tibial plateau.  Since April 2014, I can no longer afford his medication.  His dermatitis is progressively worsen with time.  He really needs to takes Vanectyl everyday,  Due to his knee injury, I started him on a Cartrophen regimen.  A regiment I cannot afford at the moment and he's long overdue for his injection.  Which such a young spirit he certainly has a few good years left.  JD really is my only companion and I wish I could provide him the best life posssible.  Financially I just cant do it.  My family has covered his food bills all year, I'm so gratefull, but they has there limitations.
