JB’s Operation and Medical Cost

My son JB Leniberto Reli Jr. has gone into operation last Oct 17,2018 in Manila Medical Hospital, he has been diagnosed with Ruptured AVM/ Left Decompressive Hemicraniectomy.

Before this happened my son is a grade 9 student, he is very athletic and he is also a member of the basketball and volleyball team of his school. In the midst of Dengvaxia all of 9 to 16 yrs old student are required to be injected with this dengue vaccine i was called by the school nurse two times and was asked if JB has been done with the vaccine, because of this i decided to go to Health Center near our community, but after a month of being injected with this vaccine i slowly notice the changes with my son like always feeling tired , he doesn't want to eat food and always feeling sleepy i asked him what is wrong but he said that he is ok

so we thought that he is just tired and we didn't take him to the doctor.

But last Oct 17, 2018 his school called me and he was rush to Emergency room he has been CT scanned, Xray and go through an MRI the doctors said he needed to be in PEG tube (Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), because he is vomiting non stop.

Doctors also said that there has been brain bleeding and he need to be operated on the same day, half of his skull has been removed and he stayed in ICU for 15 days, as per the doctor's finding he has a Ruptured AVM/ Left Decompressive Hemicraniectomy.

He is also in a therapy because his speech has been affected by the operation and Half of his body cannot move.

He was supposed to have a second operation last April 2019 for his vein because it needs to be

clip because some of it has been burst, and also his skull must be put back again, Unfortunately Pandemic happened and we are already run out of

funds, that is why i created this GogetFunding to ask for anyone who can help us, any amount will be a big help to our Family and especially to my son. His next operation schedule is this coming June 2021.
