On June 19, 2017, my brother, Jayson Ronquillo was diagnosed with colorectal cancer stage 2A at his age of 30. He started feeling some heaviness at the back of his hips since November 2016 followed by irritable bowels of about 5 times or more in a day with fresh blood coming out. He was sent by his company to Japan in May 2016 with a one year contract, so, when he felt these symptoms he tried to have himself checked at a Japanese hospital; however, due to language barrier he didn't get to understand what it is really that he was experiencing. He was full of hope that he could give a good life to his family when he comes back to the Philippines, so, he tried to stay and completed his contract in Japan while little by little he also started losing weight unexplainably.

He came home in May 2017, went to the hospital in June and was scheduled for endoscopy and colonoscopy on June 19 - results of which were gastritis and colorectal cancer with a 3cm polyp. His polyp was immediately removed through polypectomy. During his colonoscopy it was found that he has a thick cancer build up 8cm up from the anus obstructing the way of his stool that is why he would usually feel like he hasn't gotten rid of all of it making him go back and forth to the restroom. He was misinformed when he asked if the hospital is accredited to take his health card forcing them to pay so much more. He transferred from one hospital to another to get 2nd and 3rd opinion and it all tested positive for Colorectal cancer for which he needs chemoradiation for 28days, 2 month rest, surgery and chemotherapy. He is doing laboratory tests as an outpatient for now and we need your support for his fight against cancer.

We are knocking on the door of your hearts to help my brother, Jayson. We know that this is a long fight until his recovery and we are all praying for him to get back to the life he used to have. He is a very responsible husband and a loving father to his 1-year old daughter. We thank you in advance for all your help. We may not be able to pay you back but we sure will include you to be blessed in our prayers.
