Jason’s road to Autism

Thank youfoe taking the time to read our fairytale. Yes it has been a long road and we are tired BUT I will do it anyday. My son, Jason was officially diagnosed with Autism in March 2018. He was diagnosed with ADHD four years ago, and have really been struggling. He suffers from high functioning autism, anxiety with combined ADHD. Jason is presently in a mainstream school and needs to attend a private school where he can be among his peers. A place where he won't be pointed at and made fun of. A place where he can actually have real friends. He's only ever been invited to a birthday party once!! It breaks my heart to see my son so alone and struggling in school. We sit until 10pm every night and mornings from 4am to do homework. Jason has started with hurting himself until it bleeds. I am a single parent and my medical aid does not cover any therapy or his medication. He desperately needs to see someone in a regular basis to help him. Every time I get a call from the school, my heart stops. He has run away from class and hides. Jason needs personal and special attention. My child needs a break in the world, and he needs to be with children who accepts him and whom will be his friends. He is always scared, anxious, and afraid to go to school.

My son cannot go one day without his medication, he is dependent on his medication to fit into the worlds definition of normal. If only the world knew, that he is normal, he is living a normal life in his own world and he needs the world to accept him.
