Jaroslav Chizhevsky myeloid leukemia with CNS damage

Jaroslav Chizhevsky is only 3 years old and this birthday may be the last one in his life! Until January 2017 Yaroslav was very active, healthy and happy... It has started with a simple sore throat, angina, then an acute otitis media, then the suspicion for the infectious mononucleosis. We went through painful walking from one doctor’s office to another but the doctors could not properly diagnose. With every passing day our baby became weaker and weaker and finally one day he got a temperature of 40 and came to Intensive Care Unit, and the diagnosis was like a thunder - myelodysplastic syndrome, which a month later transformed into acute myeloid leukemia with CNS damage. By now Yaroslav has already passed through 2 blocks of chemotherapy and 2 more are coming. After 4 blocks of chemotherapy which will be held by doctors of Ukraine he will need a bone marrow transplantation from an unrelated donor. In Ukraine nobody can perform such surgery. There are no specialists to do it. The only chance for Yaroslav is the surgery and rehabilitation treatment abroad. "Integrated University hospital of Verona" (Italy) has agreed to make this surgery for Yaroslav but the cost of surgery itself and post-rehabilitation is120,000 euros.For our family it’s just a cosmic amount, even if we sell all our possessions we will not get even the 4th part of this amount. We cannot wait for the help from the state as we just don't have the time to wait, officials have promised to help when there is money in the budget, but Yaroslav doesn’t have time to wait for economic stability in Ukraine! Our only hope and the only chance for our child is your mercy! Even the smallest donation for Yaroslav will be a great gift! We are begging you to make a miracle and save our child!
