2018 was supposed to be a good year for our family.
But, January 28, 2018 when my sister Janeth Rodriguez was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5 at Ospital ng Maynila located in Manila, Philippines. It was an unfortunate series of events. First, I don't know what to do. Who to ask for help. Where to go.
I accepted it though it was a big challenge. But We didn't give up.
The doctors told us that she needs to undergo Hemodialysis treatment 3 times a week or have a kidney transplant.
We somehow managed to support her Hemodialysis treatment and other medical drug she needs to take. But those things are running out because of expensive treatment cost per session. Thankfully, some government agencies offers medical assistance though sometimes its not enough but I am thankful.
Now, I have been looking forward for her kidney transplant as the doctors suggest to her. I have been dreaming of turning her life back to normal, enjoying her favorite foods, having fun with her friends and taking care of my future kids. :D
Is it really possible that this dream will happen? Is the sun will shine again?
I will work hard 24/7 just to make sure that this dream will happen though due to the hemodialysis treatment cost, that dream is fading away.
So I am asking you from the bottom of my inferior vena cava, please help me to let this dream happen, please help me to turn her life back to normal As I am willing to donate my very own kidney just for her.
