WHY AM I FUNDRAISING?

In August (2014) I set off alone to volunteer in Cambodia for a month with Original Volunteers. The focus of the project is teaching English at the rural village school. To be able to promote education in a rural area, where children until now have been missing out, would be an incredible experience. As well as this, volunteers organise outdoor games and fun activites to stimulate the children's interest in learning, visit local orphanages to organise activities and help with repair and building work at the school. As I writer and photographer I am certain this experience will fuel and inspire me to write and capture some very special moments- and I look forward to sharing these with the rest of the world in hope that they will also be inspired to help others too.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

With project costs, vaccinations and flight tickets being so expensive I am hoping that you could please help out in funding this opportunity. This will be my first volunteer project abroad, and I really hope to make a difference whilst being out there. Any donations, however small or large, would be greatly appreciated.
