*UPDATE*

hello everyone id like to announce that we have reached our current target of £2000! id like to say a huge thank you each and every person who has donated to our cause. now is the time to rethink what our goals are, we are still planning to do each and every fundraiser that we have planned. and would like people to give as generously as possible as our next goal is to firstly go and get a private consultation with bupa to see if there is anything more that can be done to help get Jamie up and out of his chair, even if it is only for short periods of time. secondly to get some other equipment we are waiting on the NHS to provide such as a new walking frame.

thank you for all your support
Jon Moore

Hello everyone,      Thank you for taking the time to read about my fundraising. My son is currently 5 years old. he was born at only 24 weeks gestation (16 weeks early) weighing a miniscule 800g, because of this he has quite extensive medical problems including chronic lung disease, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.     The time has come for a new wheelchair for him again (usually provided by NHS), however the ones which you get from NHS are big, clumsy and very heavy so we have asked them for something more suitable but their response was either have another one exactly the same as the last one or they would give us a voucher. Obviously we chose the voucher.      Sadly this covers up to £500 of a £2000 wheelchair which is absolutely perfect for him. The one we would like is by sunrise medical. The "zippie youngster 3" who is designed not only to help with his posture and mobility but it actually grows with the child! This chair would see him through till late teens.      I know it seems like a lot of money for a wheelchair but in my opinion and many other users it’s a chair that will keep on going for years to come. All i am asking for is any help you can give in making this possible for a little boy who hasn't had the best start in life.   Thank you for taking the time to read my fundraising campaign. Jonathan Moore (Jamie’s Father)
