Jaeger Clan Medieval Combat Club Fundraiser

Good Day Everyone. Jaeger Clan is a historical medieval combat club which will be based in the Eastern Cape

As some of you may know safety equipment and armour happens to be somewhat expensive in this sport as it has to be tailor made to each individual.

For those who are not familiar with the sport, HMB is full contact armoured fighting, with the use of offensive and defensive weapons characteristic of the middle ages, and fighters are dressed in full armour made to historical standards.

My goal is to promote the sport in the Eastern Cape area, and given the opportunity this area could be an asset to the national team aswell as for the growth of the sport in general. The region has produced good athletes in many sporting codes through out the years, with many coming from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

The challenges we face is the ability to do full contact training without safety gear, weapons and armour. I myself work fulltime but unfortunately cannot save enough funds to get the club off the ground, and thats where YOU come in. With your help we will be able to spread and promote the sport by full contact demonstrations, attending tournaments aswell as workshops in the community. Our region itself may not be financialy strong but what we lack in that regard, we will always make up for it with heart and tenacity.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, with the promise to always do our best and overcome whatever challenges may come our way. Strength and Courage is the Jaeger Clan motto.
