Jada’s Knee Surgery

My dog Jada tore her doggie ACL needs a TPLO surgery in her hind leg. She's currently in pain, hobbles around awkwardly, but is in good spirits--as usual.

Jada started limping 6 months ago, but her condition has gotten progressively worse and is now a full-blown ACL rupture. She is no longer responding to simple medical treatment, she officially needs surgical treatment and will not be able to function normally without it. In fact, she's at risk to tear her other knee due to the added strain of not using her bad leg.

Over the past 8 years I have always been able to take care of her and any medical expenses she's incurred (she's had many) without hesitation. However, I have not worked in the past year because I was seeking my own medical healing. Unfortunately, its rendered me virtually fund-less.

The time of rest served me well and feel ready to go back to work. I have been looking for work for the past 3 months, unfortunately it is going to take time before I actually have a paycheck.

Her surgery is scheduled for Monday, June 20th. I have an estimate from the vet of how much it will cost, but it's just an estimate. I dont know what to expect from this campaign, but anything that you are able to contribute will go to the costs of her surgery, recovery and pain management.

It's extremely difficult for me to ask for help because I have always tried to take care of myself. At this time I am not financially able to pay for the care she needs. But there's no question that Jada needs this and I will do anything for her as she has done everything for me.

I've overcome my embarrassment to ask for money so here I am, asking for your donations. Give whatever you're comfortable with or don't give at all, I genuinely respect both decisions.
