Jada Johnson Fund

We are asking friends, family and anyone else who might want to contribute for donations to help with fees for an Attorney to help me fight for my daughter Jada. Most of you know the terrible story, but here it is for those reading this for the first time. About 2 years ago I finished my time serving my country in the US Marines and got out to pursue other interests. My wife Tasha at the time had cheated several times and I decided it was not a relationship I could handle any longer. Tasha seemed to move on very quickly and so when we divorced, I thought my daughter being with her mother would be the right thing to do so I let Tasha have physical custody while I had frequent visitation and paid child support. The first sign something was not right was when Tasha started refusing to let me see my daughter, then last year the first week of June I received a call from child protective services, giving me information NO father wants to hear, My 5year old daughter Jada was sexually abused by a friend of her mother Tasha while in her care. The person Aaron Masa who did this to my little girl is now serving a 40 year sentence without the possibility of parole at the Fort Leavenworth Prison. Tasha has had several cases open with CPS in North Carolina. Since the Sexual abuse case she has moved more than 7 times in less than a year, she lives with various men she meets, advertises on craigslist to do massages she has no training to do, Tasha has no income and relies on others and the child support she receives from me to care for her and my daughter. Tasha also refuses to get Counseling for my daughter Jada to deal with the trauma of what has happened to her.

Jada was with me through the investigation of Mr. Masa and she loved living here. Cps required us to give her back to her mother on October 25th 2014, since then Tasha has once again refused to let me have visitation or even let me speak to my daughter on the phone. Since this newest CPS case being opened she refuses to return my calls or texts and will not disclose her new address or let me have any contact with my daughter.

We have been doing our best to fight for Jada, we have filed for a modification of Custody and were told that North Carolina Law requires that we go through mediation first which has ended up a red tape nightmare. We inquired about getting Emergency custody and were told by the judge we would get it, but in North Carolina you must have an Attorney to obtain Emergency Custody. So that is where this plea come in from donations and any help anyone can give us and my sweet Jada. My wife and I are both in school full time, my wife graduates June of 2015. I work and I go to school and since I am using my GI bill I collect BAH and a little VA disability its enough to keep us going while I am in school but not enough to spare for the high cost of an Attorney. We are REALLY concerned for my daughter Jada. Tasha’s daughter from her second marriage is with her father and the courts awarded him Sole physical and legal custody because of the severe allegations against her so we are confident we would be able to win in court and get my daughter here with us so she can be safe and well taken care of.

Tasha also has mental issues and is quite unstable, she likes to threaten people and has no regard for the Authority or court proceedings. She continually tells me, her other ex husband and various other people she will do whatever she wants when she wants and no one can do anything about it.

Jada has sisters here she loves and they love her very much, we attend church and she loves going and our pastors are very concerned for her welfare also. We want to give her a better life than what she is living and also get her the help she needs.

PLEASE, PLEASE send a donation to help us get my daughter Jada out of a very bad situation with Tasha. We need your help and so does Jada.
