JACQUEZEL, WHO?

Meet Jacquezel. A handmade lifestyle leather goods brand and design studio from North Borneo, Malaysia. Founded by Chloe Moin and Darren Chong in 2014, their aim is to bring leather goods that are timeless, minimal, contemporary, and most importantly, affordable, to the market.

To date, everything from Jacquezel (JQZ) are proudly designed and hand crafted by Chloe Moin and Rachel Tan (a partner that joined them in 2016). Chloe is a 25 year-old Financial Economics graduate from University Malaysia Sabah. Financial Economics was never an interest to her as she's always dreamt about being in the fashion industry. She loves observing and designing bags, and she's also a big fan of leather. Right after she graduated, she took a giant leap of faith and decided to pursue her childhood dream. With no fashion background, no connections and broke, she decided to start by teaching herself how to create bags and 'took' making classes from the Internet. Stitching came naturally to her as it was always her hobby. Chloe gets most of her design inspirations from Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Coco Chanel and her grandma's vintage leather handbags.

JQZ offers varies products from bags (totes and clutches) to desk accents and leather accessories such as journal covers, iPad sleeves, card holders and more. JQZ also provides 'labeling' service to its customers. JQZ allows customers to have their names stamped onto their products so they would own something unique and personal.

SO, WE NEED THE FUNDING BECAUSE...

Jacquezel is currently operating from the living room of Rachel Tan, also from the bedroom of Chloe Moin. With the help of the $5,000, it would allow us to

• build a studio for operation
• purchase a sewing machine for fasterproduction
• purchase machines such as dremel and a hot stamp machine.
• packaging improvements

WHEN DO I RECEIVE MY GOODS

Once our campaign ends, we will start on production in May and all products will be shipped out in June. We will e-mail you with an update of your tracking number once we have shipped off your rewards!

We ship via PosMalaysia (Economy Delivery) / PosLaju (Fast Delivery) depending on the distance & location, and also whichever rate that does not exceed more than US$30.
