Jacob Clifford, Abuse Victim, Soon Homeless

Hello, I'm Jacob, though I go by Iris these days. I am an 18 year old abuse victim living in Maine. My whole life, I have been abused and used as a slave by my mother and stepfather. I have been hit, burned, stabbed, and even sexually abused while living there. CPS was called many times, but unfortunately nothing was done about it. A year ago, I ran away from home to live with my grandmother.

Unfortunately, this was only a temporary solution, as she is now selling her house and will not be able to continue supporting me. I will be sent back home if I cannot find a way to get my own place by May, but I have not been able to find a job. I have PTSD, depression, autism and anxiety. My mental health makes driving an impossibility for me.

Without a job and transportation, I felt this was my only option left. I need to get money to get me started off on my own so I do not have to go back to my abusive mother's house. Any donations will go towards helping me pay for an apartment, food, and transportation until I can get a job. This is all to prevent me from going back to an abusive family.
