Campaign Story
This is Jackson, our aunt's 5 year old beagle. He is a beauty full of energy, love and care. Since my aunt is a widow and is unable to have kids of her own, he is her only companion, baby and the sunshine in her life.
My aunt works at a manufacturing site for printers and home appliances. Regardless of her small income, she does her best to support her and Jackson's needs in their everyday life.
(Jackson 6 months of age and first day in his real home after adoption.)
Last April 17, 2019 while my aunt was at work, she got a call from her neighbors so she rushed home because 3 akyat bahay (house robbers) broke into her house in mandaluyong and tried to steal what little belongings that she had. Jackson managed to fight them off but was badly injured by the robbers so he was rushed to the nearest veterinarian hospital, Vets in Practice in mandaluyong where he was treated.
He receive multiple injuries.5 broken ribs, 4 stab wounds on the back, a broken right front paw and remains in the ICU.
Even though he was small and fragile, he did his best to protect their home from the robbers.
