Jackline and Benson Mkenge

This fundraising campaign is for two Kenyan orphans, Mkenge Benson Godana and Mkenge Jackline Halako towards their secondary education.

Their father died several years ago and their mother who lives in poverty, sent them to live with their teachers at Majenjeni primary school, Magarini sub county, Kilifi County.

The teachers feed, clothed and catered for their other needs. For more than three years, they had to sleep on floor of one of the classrooms within the school amid cold weather and mosquitoes bite.

Jackline(below) and Benson Mkenge(above) are determined to realize their dreams hoping for well-wishers to support them.

They could only walk out of the school's compound during holidays to be with their mother and younger siblings.

Again, the teachers ensured the family had enough food for use over the holiday. Now the teachers have done their part after Benson and Jackline completed their primary school education.

Benson topped Kenya Certificate Primary Education, released February 19, 2018 with Jackline being among the top five candidates. Their mother cannot afford to finance their secondary education and they are seeking help from well wishers.

I have started this noble fund raise campaign to help Benson and Jackline realize their dreams. Their joy would be short-lived unless we support them. Our lives are richer when we share and help others to better their lives.
