Jackie’s wish to offer Acupuncture

Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Hier mal in kurz und knapp für alle die auf Deutsch lesen:
Ich habe die Möglichkeit an meinem Praktikumsplatz einen Kurs in Ohr-Akupunktur zu machen. Diese Art der Akupunktur ist leicht zu erlernen und beschränkt sich auf nur 5 sehr kraftvolle Punkte im Ohr. Die Behandlungen werden in meiner derzeitigen Praktikumsstelle für Klienten und "Dienstnehmer" der Sozialen Arbeit angeboten und sind FOR FREE! Es gibt viele Einrichtungen hier in England und ich habe mich sofort darin wiedergefunden. Da es sich um ein unbezahltes Praktikum handelt und die Kosten für den Kurs eindeutig nicht vorhergesehen waren und mein Budget sprengen, habe ich diese Fundraising Seite ins Leben gerufen.

Hello everyone!

As many of you know I am in England at the moment, doing a placement in my second year of social work studies.

Recently, I got the priviledged opportunity to take part in an Auricular Acupuncture Course.
Auricular Acupuncture is a specialised therapy based upon the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture. It is quite easy to learn and has a huge effect on people's overall health.
The Acupuncture treatment is used on a regular basis at my placement and it is really powerful. My placement is a Charity, working with an holistic approach to help and support people with any kinds of problems, from addictions and substance missuse to overcoming anxiety and depression.
Besides using Counselling, Group Work and Psychotherapy, they offer this Acupuncture Treatment for all clients. It is for FREE!
For me this is a really important piece of work and the treatment enhances many people's physical and mental state of health. I will even get the oppurtunity to practise my skills at my placement, by starting to treat the clients, once I've finished the Course.

As I have received this treatment myself, I know how powerful it is. I would recommend it to everyone! It can ease the body, lower the stress level and help you to live life more relaxed. That is why I am so passionate about learning it myself and eventually treat my own clients.

As my placement is not paid and the costs of this course are definetly more than I can afford at the moment, I set up this Fundraising Campaign. I'm happy about the smallest donation! ;)

I am eager in developing more and more skills and to increase my ability to treat and help people with their health so that they find more fulfillment in life and hopefully overcome their struggles and problems.
