Jack was hit by a car on Aug. 11, 2014. He was taken to a vet clinic, where his extensive injuries were assessed and he began receiving medical care. Jack has a badly broken left front leg that requires surgery from an orthopedic surgeon. His left rear leg was run over by the car and is badly swollen. Both rear legs were dislocated from the hips and have been reset. He suffered several broken ribs and a concussion. He has abrasions and road rash on the left side of his body. He is in stable condition and surgery for his leg has been scheduled. He is currently on antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and pain medication. Jack is going to require extensive medical care and rehabilitation for him to regain his health, but WRS is committed to do everything we can for Jack.
