Campaign Story
2021 was another difficult year for the team of J.A.C.K. and the number of animals that needed our help was higher than ever before.
Sadly, the trend has continued into 2022 and we are now working to bring at least 7 more orphaned and mistreated chimpanzees to the safety of J.A.C.K. We are currently trying to organize the rescue of 2 baby chimpanzees from 2 different remote areas of DRC. All have suffered the trauma of being taken from their families; one of these babies was hit by a machete and was found clinging to the dead body of its mother. We are in desperate need of support to bring these chimps to safety and to ensure we have the quarantine facilities necessary to care for them at J.A.C.K..
