Izizwe Projects – Support the Dance Program

Since African people are very musical and enjoy singing as well as dancing, we are doing a dance program at different creches in Walmer Township. Every day our volunteers dance together with the local kids to English, german and dutch songs chosen by our dance coordinator who teaches them the moves as well. By singing lyrics in different languages and doing moves appealing to that, the kids get to know different cultures and types of music, while having lots of fun!

Our dream is it to buy two African Drums in order to practice dances according to their own culture. Furthermore, we would like to buy two microphones for the dance lessons, so that the kids can understand everything perfectly and are highly motivated. Your support is necessary and would make a difference in this amazing project and in the lives of many children in the Walmer Township.
