IVF To Start a Family

My husband, Jason and I have been married for almost 8 years. We’ve been trying since then to have a baby but with no luck. Before we didn’t have a plan to have a baby at early marriage days because we wanted first to settle down and have good disposition before having a child

We only realised two years ago that there is a missing part from us. We began consulting to a clinic and various tests were given to us. Both of us undergo various treatments and medicines. Our bill before reached to $4000 but with no success.

One of our common friends introduced us to a well-known IVF clinic. We went there and showed the doctor all the tests result that we had from our previous clinic. The doctor said that even if we tried the normal way the possibility of conceiving would be too low. The doctor suggested us to undergo IVF. First he advised me to lose at least 10 kilos as with my age, 35 at that time would be difficult to carry a baby. I started to go to the gym, diet, exercised and did a lot of workouts and activities to lose weight. Finally the time has come and I lost the number of kilos to be ready for the treatment. We went again to the doctor in May 2016 to discuss about the procedures. The doctor informed us that the total cost of the treatment will be in the ranges of $6, 000 to $ 7,000. I was shocked because the amount was fictitious to me and my hope to have a baby started to diminish or became impossible.

We are currently facing financial difficulties. Both of us have a loan that we used to invest but found out that it was a Ponzi scheme. Our salaries at the moment are not enough. I even tried to advance my utilities allowance for 6 months but still our savings was not enough for the cause of the treatment.

We used to travel before, visit different countries but now even small penny counts. I started taking cupcakes orders and selling homemade products to earn extra for the IVF procedures. IVF is a very expensive medical procedure that requires a lot of time off work and a lot of money up front, our insurance does not provide any coverage for infertility-related services.

We have saved up $4, 000; all we need now is $3, 000 to start for the treatment. We are hoping to raise funds to help pay for IVF and help out with some of the large bills. I'm asking you, family, friends and strangers to please help Jason and I fulfilling our dream of becoming parents to a child that we have wanted for so long.
