Ivf Miracle Dream

I met my husband six years ago. At that point he was critically ill, weighing a mere eight stone. All this due to a condition called ulcerative colitis. I fell in love the moment our eyes met and knew that he was "the one" and I wanted to have a family with him. The hospital had advised Jason to store some of his semen as the operation he was about to have could lower his sperm count. Instead it stopped it completely, meaning we had the need for ivf in order to have a child of our own. I already had a beautiful boy from a previous relationship and as a result we were told that we did not qualify to have our ivf funded, so the saving commenced. We got married to create "our" own family unit, but decided not to have a honeymoon, opting to save the money instead.

In 2013 our dreams were realised as we started the ivf process (cloud 9 didn't even come close to how we felt!) Sadly those hopes were dashed when the ivf failed just before christmas. The heartbreak was immense and it is only now that we feel ready to have another go, but we need help financially. We are normally very private people, but are running out of time (the sperm is only stored for a certain amount of time!!). Not only do we want to be parents again, but we also have a little boy at home who is desperate to be a big brother (he would be the best ever!!)!
