In 2010 we underwent IVF/ICSI treatment through the NHS and something unexpected and miraculous happened, it worked and I gave birth to our beautiful daughter in December 2010. In 2013 we went back to our fertility clinic as we had three embryo's left over in frozen storage, they were all thawed, one didn't make it but the other two were in good quality and were transferred but I did not get pregnant. My husband and I are desparate for another child, we want our daughter to have a friend to grow up with, thats all. I feel very guilty alot of the time as so many couples undergo fertility treatment so many times without sucess and here I am, it works for me first time! I can't help but often feel guilty at not giving my daughter a sibling to grow up with, I always wanted more than one child, not that she is not enough for us, of course she is but most people want more than one child and if children are wanted and needed that should be all that matters, we have a wonderful family who give us alot of love and support, we are good parents and have a loving happy marriage. I know couples who never will have children so I do feel bad wanting another but I can't help it, I can have children, we just can't get pregnant naturally. I would love more children but at least one more for my daughter to grow up with and share her life with would be amazing. We both work but have alot of time at home and one to one time with our daughter, we have a nice home and a good income but to pay for IVF/ICSI this time means we would have to borrow at least £7,000. We already have £2,000 and we'll borrow from the bank if we have to but there are alot of people in the world, some of whom may know how this feels and if anyone would like to contribute to our fund and can afford to then we are asking, not begging, just asking to avoid debt. If I could help someone with this I would. If we go over our target I will donate the extra money to further treatments or Great Ormond Street Hospital if our treatment works. Thats it, I just thought I'd give something like this a go as I have read some stories online from couples who have done the same. Thank you for reading. Sarah & Sean x
