IVF help for Kristin & Jenny

In August we were lucky to be able to fund over 3000 euros, which helped us going through two more inseminations, with still 900 euros left of fundings, also using our own money for the cause. Unfortunately, both inseminations failed, and we have now done five in the past year - adding up to about 9000 euros spent and lost down the drain. It's heartbreaking, and it's frustrating that we get no help from the government what so ever (except for when you try IVF the second or third time, when you now can receive about 800 euros in help).

Having consulted with our fertility doctor, we agreed to move over to IVF. This is a big step we didn't even know we would take, as we actually have two wombs to do this. But with Kristin already being "in the system", and her wanting to carry, it is the way to go for us. This means we are in a bit of a pickle, due to the above. Since we need a full stimulation treatment, the price for medication is already very high, despite getting help to get the stuff from the Netherlands at reduced price. But everything costs, the breakdown costs for the treatment and egg transfer and all that it includes, singles down to every little piece of material used, and every single part of the process. It's a lot, we can tell you that much (and more if you want to hear it).

This leads us to this fundraiser, where we once again need to reach out and ask for help. We can manage with a couple of thousand ourselves, but without help we would most likely have to wait for months and months before we could start thinking about it again. We know so many of you who probably will read this already gave us a lot - we hope you understand that we understand that there is no way we could accept more money from you. What we are asking for, is if you could please share our story and this fundraiser, for anyone to be willing to give just a couple of euros. Small streams make great rivers. We will never be able to thank anyone who has helped us enough, but thank you, thank you, thank you.
