Itziar Ituño’s Fans Fundraiser for SMH’s Maydayterraneo Project

Anyone who follows Itziar Ituño knows how passionate she is about multiple causes and using her immense platform to champion those causes. She’s an inspiration to us all through her activism, and we thought what better way to honor her than to help raise money for an organization she cares about?

We have chosen to raise money and awareness for the Salvamento Maritimo Humanitario organization, an organization that Itziar herself spoke about on an Instagram live interview a few weeks ago. Salvamento Maritimo Humanitario rescues migrants fleeing to Europe from drowning in the Mediterranean Sea and right now they are looking for donations to help equip their medical camps with the necessary equipment to combat COVID. Itziar has supported this organization for years and as fans, we thought it would be a great gesture on our part to mobilize for such an important cause in honor of her. Itziar has fans in all corners of the world, and we thought this would be a great opportunity to come together for a worthy cause.

100% of the proceeds raised on GoGetFunding will be donated to Salvamento Maritimo Humanitario in Itziar Ituño’s name. We will keep the fundraising window open until January 15th, 2021.
