Campaign Story
We are the mutual aid group for St Mary's ward in Islington, North London, one of thousands of grassroots groups that have formed across the UK since the start of the COVID-19 crisis.
Our mission is simple: to harness the kindness and dedication of the local community to help care for the most vulnerable in society and to support one another, including those self-isolating, in these challenging times. We are not a formally registered charity, aid organisation or government-backed body — just a group of people who have come together to help those around us in a time of need.
We are looking for donations to develop a dedicated fund to help the most vulnerable in the local community. In some cases, these individuals are not set up online and can’t leave their homes to shop or even withdraw money from the local bank.
Your generosity will help us help them pay for essential groceries, and to deal with any emergency situations as they arise.
Please use this page to make a contribution to the fund – however big or small, it all helps. Thank you for your kind donations.

You may be luckier then some of our neighbours. The vulnerable are lonely and don’t know if they will get to eat, get medicines or even some social interaction. Only 10% of grocery stores are delivering! Let’s show them we care ...
