Education of the students is important for our next generation. In some developing countries, education is the field where the government focuses on. Though the education becomes the focus, the government still have not distributed the education level evenly among its province or region. Underdeveloped areas play a great role in this case. The underdeveloped area is difficult to be accessed or to be reached. Therefore, the citizen of the area cannot get the proper education because they have no infrastructure or even adequate teacher to teach them. With your help, everything can be better.

Type of Education

Speaking of education, they are divided into two types namely formal and informal. In some developing countries, especially Indonesia, formal education has several different types, one is going to usual schools, the other is the Islamic boarding schools. Pondok Pesantren or Pesantren is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The focuses of Pesantren is not only studying the curriculum given by the government, but also to deepen knowledge of the Koran. It is like doing two things at the same time. It is because they believe that learning knowledge has to be followed by learning religion and vice versa. Pesantren is a dormitory school and the students are called Santri.

The Condition

In the underdeveloped area or even in the city, Pesantren has played a major role. Since the area is still difficult to be accessed, pesantren can replace schools as an educational institution for students as well as a social institution. In an underdeveloped area, the problems lie in building the pesantren and the access to get through it. In Jambi, near Aburan Batang Tebo village, there is a pesantren but both the santri and the wali, the teacher, is facing difficulty to get to it. The path is still rough and is not even because it is located on a hill. The path becomes worse when it rains. The path cannot be passed by cars and motorcycles. Even by walking, the path is still difficult to pass by. They also have to cross a wooden bridge. The bridge is in a bad condition and needs to be fixed.

Fundraising

With Your help, You can turn the condition and the environment around the pesantren to be better so the santri can go to school without worrying about the harsh condition of the road they will take. This is nonprofit fundraising. It means that all donation come into the institution will be directed to fix both the road and the bridge without taking any profit at all. When the road is easy to access, the pesantren has not to be closed when it rains. Therefore, the santri can go to pesantren every day so they will study as the normal students do.

You can contact the pesantren about how to give your donation. Also, you can see the video of the condition around the pesantren to see how bad it is. Your help plays a major role in helping the underdeveloped area to get the proper education. The institution will not get any profit because education for students is more important than personal or institutional profit.
