It is with my deepest sorrow that I announce the death of my mother. She passed away peacefully yesterday at 10:05pm surrounded by family.

We have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.

My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people happy. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.

Love,

Rebong-Amatorio Family

It's been almost a week since she was transferred to the ICU, total of 3weeks in the hospital. She's still in critical condition and under strict observation for 72hours due to infection.

Fortunately, she can still communicate to us. We know that she feels lonely in that cold room and she's not used to being alone. She source out strength from us, her kids, her friends, mga kaSis, relatives and all those people who love her. That's why we really recommend that you visit her despite the limit visitor rule. Visiting hours in the ICU are every 10-12nn and 7-8pm.

Our running bill already reached a million mark. We don't know yet where we can get this big amount but this should not hinder us to continue this battle, right? We are already planning to seek help from pcso, dswd, city hall and some other private foundations. If you can still recommend other options, please feel free to send us a message.

We still seek your continuous prayer for Mommy. And we all lift this up to Him.

Sadly, Mommy is still in ICU. Her 4th night alone in that cold room. I hope we could at least wait beside her.

This afternoon was a roller coaster ride. We all thought that she will be discharged today. She was very excited to go home and prepare for ate Jovy's wedding tomorrow not until her heart rate went up to 190 when the normal rate should only be 60-100. Her blood pressure also dropped. Several procedures were made to stabilize her heart rate and blood pressure but nothing seems to work. She was sedated the whole afternoon and we were very happy for every response we got from her. We even wanted to have at least a ceremonial rights in the ICU for Mommy to witness. We already got the approval from the hospital and the priest's confirmation but instead we had the anointing of the sick due to her condition.

Until now she is in critical condition but she's fighting. Please, please pray for Mommy.

It is Mom's 3rd night at the ICU, still with mechanical ventilator on.

Jp drain insertion to left lung was a success. Almost 600cc were drained during the procedure. Her breathing already stabilized.

Central line IV insertion was aborted and opted to put it in her thigh.

She was able to sleep well the whole day and so so ready to go home!

What to expect at home? We borrowed a hospital bed for Mommy's comfort. Oxygen tanks will be on stand by. Pain meds will be maintained. Feeding will be through IV. Once Mommy has recovered her strength and health, chemo medication will resume.

Our hopes are high, our prayers are up and journey continues.

Please always include our family especially Mommy in your prayers. We are grateful for all the prayers, financial support, motivation and love received. Hopefully, she can go home already.

Here is Mommy sending love to everyone.

Calling all Mommy's prayer warriors! Procedure will start anytime soon. We are currently outside the ICU waiting for her to be transferred to OR.

I think she's so ready. The nurses gave her a bath and she really looks fresh and relaxed. She even took a selfie while in ICU. (will have to ask permission if I can share it online haha)

Once Mommy is discharged, we will be needing the following:

1. Oxygen tank

we need two - one portable and one bedside tank

One friend already lent us a portable oxygen tank

2. Kabiven supplier

Since feeding will be through IV in central line, her nutriotion will come from Kabiven. At the hospital, it costs around Php 9,000 good for a day. If you have any referral so we can get a cheaper one, please contact us.

We are still receiving overflowing love and support, we truly appreciate that. Thank you! Thank you!

(Sharing you Mia's message to Mommy. She is Mommy's unang Apo from Kuya Doods and Ate adeng)

Tomorrow, 7am, Mommy is scheduled for Jp drain insertion in her left lung and IV via central line.

This morning an ultrasound was ordered to check her lungs. 1L of fluids was seen in her left lung, thus the need for the Jp drain insertion. Previous Jp drain was inserted in her right lung.

Nutrition intake is the priority at the moment. Peg insertion and Gastrostomy tube insertion were already ruled out. Leading us to Option 4, feeding via IV through the central line.

Mommy is still in the ICU and the mechanical ventilator can already be removed but opted not to due to the procedures to be done tomorrow.

I hope we are not asking too much but we really need your prayers for these procedures. Mommy is positive and excited to go home once all these are done.

Thank you so much for all the love.

This photo is taken to check the oxygenation level of Mommy. She passed it! Yey!
