Late 2014 when Isa was diagnosed with breast cancer, Stage 3b. The following year, she had chemotherapy and radiation. 2016 when they first saw a metastasis in her pelvic bone and had a series of cycle of radiation again. Before 2017 ends, another metastasis was seen in her right lung. Early this year, they also saw tumors in her liver. And just recently, they also saw a tumor in her esophagus and unable to eat. She's currently admitted in Perpetual Hospital Las Piñas for more than a week. She's scheduled for peg insertion on Monday(June 4).
The family would need a hospital bed, oxygen tanks (portable and not), caregiver and resources for her medications that would make Isa's life and condition better.
We know that this journey isn't easy. Palliative care isn't cheaper than we think it is. We only have one life to live. We ask you to help Isa and her family pass this difficult time and savor her life. Let's all fight this Big C together!
May our bigger C bless you all always!
