My name is Jayne Mutahi Kabura and I run a children's orphanage in Ngong, Kenya, called SPCCC (S Paul's Children's Care Centre).

The orphanage has a 5 acres piece of farmland in a semi-arid area called Ololoitikosh where we grow our own food mainly vegetables, and grains. For the past 6 years we used drip lines to irrigate the land but the lines have slowly deteriorated due to the extremely hot climate that makes the soil dry and crackle as well as the drip lines. We've been fortunate to raise funds before and dug a borehole. That has been our source of water for farming in between the rainy seasons.

What we need now is hopefully a permanent solution for our irrigation system - overhead sprinklers system. Your help to put this irrigation system in place will allow us to continue farming and feed the children. Our motto is, learn how to fish and not to keep begging for fish. We sincerely that you for taking your time to read about our project and assisting us with your mission to be a wholesome home for those without.

Thank you
