Iqra Academy Fundraiser – Youth Empowerment Project Through Education

My name is Nadeem Alhassan. I am a learner trying to raise funds for his school. Iqra Academy has been struggling financially for a long time, but they have showed no signs of going down. I believe that the school has so much potential and is filled with many bright learners who can make this world a better place. So please help me by donating to this campaign to educate our youth. The school was first established in 1997 and had ... learners at the time. This year in 2018, the school houses ..... learners,,,, of them being matriculants. The school employs x amount of staff who all try their very best to make it a better environment for the whole Iqra Family.

A message from the principal of the school:

"Our school, Iqra Academy, is catering for the marginalised community of our society. our school is based on the Islamic ethos and we are proud yet humble to confess that all our educators are academically highly qualified. Their spirit of love and brotherhood is exemplary. We however need to pay them for their hard work and sweat.

Despite our financial constraints,we have produced highly successful learners with positions such as doctors, engineers, bio-scientists, lawyers, psychologists and many more.

It is rather unfortunate that the quality of education is inextricably linked to funding. Although the school is being administered by the WCED, it is registered as a Non-Profit Organization and Public Benefit Organization (Reference number. 930024387). We firmly believe that the supervision of quality education is what the community owes itself.
