Seasoned Investor Seeks Partners

My short-term lack of liquidity has created an excellent investment opportunity for savvy investors. I need $45k to complete the last and final payment on a project that will provide me with a hefty payoff. First, a little about myself. I worked as an equity analyst on Wall Street for nearly 30 years before getting laid off five years ago. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and MBA in Finance, and a CFA Charter. So, I have some idea of what I am doing.

After losing my job five years ago, I decided to start my own business of providing financial advice to businesses and to help them raise capital. In some situations, I have invested my own money in a company. Of course, it takes time to get companies started up, and it takes time to raise capital. So, right now I am stretched very thin as some of the deals I thought would be paying off by now need a little more time to gain traction.

I have been working for about three years with a partner in the Middle East on several projects. One of those projects is now about to pay off. Our client had invested a substantial some of money in one of the GCC countries in the hopes of capitalizing on the ongoing growth in that region. However, our client did not use normal and proper channels to set up his business in the region, and now his funds are being held by the State. This is where my partner comes in. He has connections that can free up our client's capital. Our client has met twice with the authorities of this Gulf State, and one final meeting is scheduled. After that, his money will be freed up, and we will collect our payment for facilitating this transaction. The only problem is that my partner and I need to make one final payment of $50k by May 15th to HIS connections that opened the doors for this deal to be consummated.

With our ready cash having been exhausted due to our investments in various projects, we find ourselves short of the money needed to make this final payment. I know this sounds like a pretty unusual situation and some may think it is a scam. But believe me, it is a completely real and legitimate deal.
