Amount needed: £30K - Opening one physical shop (with the possibility of several more in the future) and increasing marketing for online store.

My name is Samual and I am the Founder and Managing Director of Atomic Penguin Limited. I am looking for investment to grow this business and open a flagship store with several other shops possible in the UK. Atomic Penguin retails novelty, fashion and funny printed clothing and accessories online.

Investment is need to open a store and purchase printing equipment, consumables, stock and marketing. The flagship store will retail printed t-shirts and other merchandise from DC Comics, Marvel and several music brands. It will also retail everything sold on our website which is a collection of designs created by Atomic Penguin and various artists and purchased artwork. This is not your everyday type of store and would usually only be found online, there would be 3 revenue streams for the business which i will briefly list below:

Retailing products to the customer in a funky, colourful and fun environment, quite geeky but maintaining a sophisticated look and feel to the store, it would be a one of a kind shop and a go to place for people looking to purchase something different for themselves or as a gift. Customers would be able to choose from a collection of stock on display in the store or choose from our inventory on our website via iPads or other tablet devices on a counter. The concept for this store would be unique and have a fun and creative environment for the customer. Customers will be able to choose from branded bags or boxes for their purchases and all products in store would have Atomic Penguin branding, tags and bags consistent with the stores design.

Wholesale purchases would work well for this type of business as all products will be branded with Atomic Penguin labels, packaging and tags allowing trade sales to other retail stores wanting to stock our products. There would also be the opportunity to sell to local businesses or charities with the ability to sell larger quantities at a lower price, this could vary from a company wanting logos printed or embroidered onto clothing or a charity wanting t-shirts printing for a sponsored marathon or event.

Selling on demand with no minimum order quantity would be great for people wanting t-shirts printed for birthdays, stag parties or hen parties, this would allow the customer to provide details and/or artwork needed for a specific print and be printed to order.

The possibilities are endless and the various products to be printed on as well as the several different printing methods would allow for continuous growth.
