Invest In Me, So That I Can Invest In Others!

Hi, I'm a South African student who is passionate about God and people. It is my dream to study overseas and become a doctor who will not only invest in my patients but the lives of students who want to pursue their dreams and don't have the opportunities to do so. I am currently Head Prefect at my high school. I have also been in first position academically throughout my high school career. I have received full academic colours and half academic colours. I am involved in many activities at school which includes a bible study group that I initiated. I am also a youth leader and a kids leader at my church. I am vehemently passionate about the goals that I have , because I want to make a difference. I will make a difference. It would mean the world to be to be able to be one step closer to achieving everything that God has called me to and to be able to help other young people do the same. There will be many expenses that come with having a goal like this , which include taking SATs , TOEFLs , flights , application fees and tuition fees. I intend to be a doctor who starts an organization that equips young people to pursue their dreams and assists in them doing so. I will be so grateful for any help , because it is a step closer. Invest in me so that I can invest in others.The last few years have been quite the journey. But I’m so grateful that throughout the craziness, Gods voice remained constant. I began asking God what he wanted me to do for my future , because I firmly believe that God is in every aspect of my life and I wanted to do exactly what he wanted me to do . I wanted him to direct my path. The more I began asking him and seeking his wisdom for the decisions that I needed to make, the more I learned about Him. Our relationship grew exponentially just by me taking the initiative to really want to know what He wanted my next step to be.

Many prophetic words , prayers and confirmations later , I felt what God wanted me to step into. My parents , spiritual leaders and I all felt that God was saying the same thing to me : ‘ Medicine’ . After being sick in 2016 and after my dad’s accidents , my heart really broke for the sick - more so than usual . Little did I know , that God was birthing a heart for what He called me to do.

I have the opportunity to go overseas and work with doctors in different countries . This opportunity will not only cause me to gain knowledge and understanding but also an experience of the medical field that is truly rare. I will be alongside other students who are in similar situations as me and who are wanting to make a difference as well. God has been so good to me that I have been the only South African student that was chosen .
