Hello, I am Ghi and currently a student in the Philippines taking up International Cuisines. I’m a single mom but is proud to say that I have been an A student throughout the duration of my course.

Ive gone through the financial struggle of paying my tuition through the help of some relatives, but the amount needed to have my internship abroad is far too much for them, for the tuition itself wasn’t cheap.

I am seeking help to fulfill her life long dream of being a chef because I realised that if I wanted that to happen, I needed to open doors and windows.

My 5yr old daughter is about to enter the 1st grade, and I wanted to fix my life so I would be able to support her, and my family as well. I wanted another chance in proving I can be someone my daughter can be proud of someday. I want to give her the best education available because she deserves it and also an achiever herself. That is why I’m trying my best in what I do now and I’m not really getting any younger to be in the range of being accepted abroad for internships. Sadly, I need funds to get the best training I can have and probably an opportunity to work for her family.

I wanted to get the training from abroad so I can further broaden my knowledge in International Cuisines, at the same time, hone the skills I have and to develop more skills in the future. Although we have a couple of great hotels and restaurants in the Philippines, the training ground is still better outside the country. I want to gain more techniques from a diverse kitchen and be able to apply what I have learned.

The amount we are trying to raise is for my internship application and processing fees, visa, expenses needed for processing. It would also include the airfare and the initial housing fee and the pocket money required to start internship. Yes, I know it’s costly but If I will get the internship, it means I would be able to send my kid to school at the same time I’m having my internship. I don’t own any properties so getting a loan is not an option. So if you could help me even with just a bit of what you could, it would be an enormous act of generosity.

I would forever be thankful to all of you for helping me get a brighter future and I would do my best not to let all of your efforts go to waste. God bless in advance!”

P.s.

if you could leave me your name, so we can thank you and include you in our daily prayers. (And having high hopes that I can pay it forward to you someday) Thank you.
