Nix Consulting -  Internet Marketing Funding Hello,  My name is Chris Thomson and I am the owner and founder of Nix Consulting, a web design and internet marketing company. I lost my job due to mass layoffs and shortly after that my hearing. I went completely deaf, an infection lead to sudden sensorial hearing loss resulting in overnight permanent deafness. Shortly after that a cyst developed on my pancreas, resulting the removal of most of pancreas and my gull bladder. I was in the hospital for 3 months, it has been a rough ride. Uncertain where to turn, with no idea how to get back into the type of job I was doing with no hearing and still recovering from surgery, I became determined to make money myself doing what I already know how to do best and start my own web design and marketing business.
