I started Airbridge Network and Hotspot Services way back on 2013. It's a sole proprietor business. My primary goal is to provide internet access for the residents from the remote communities without any means of communication particularly during emergency. Some of them endures 1-2 kilometers walk uphill just to send SMS or text messages for their love ones or to send important messages to authorities or government offices. Even the school teachers needed to travel by boat for 3-5 hours just to create and submit their reports on emails. Internet speed in the Philippines is not the main problem for the remote areas, it is the non-availability of signal / provider that creates burden for them. Remote locations are not the priority of giant telecoms since they are looking for densely populated areas for profitability.

By our own small efforts, i believed that we can make a big difference in making their life more connected to the world no matter where they are. It will also help the students to learn from the vast information from the internet to make them competitive for those who lived in the town or cities. by providing the internet access, we are minimizing the gap between those who lived in the cities and remote communities.
