Hey there!
My name is Viet and I'm currently a second year student studying at the University of British Columbia. As part of my studies, I have been chosen as one of the two students who will be travelling to Bolivia this summer to work with COBAGUAL on the theme of Sustainable Economic Development. Specifically, our project will concern organic agriculture and sanitation especially the biosand water filtration system.
Although part of my funding is covered by the Arts Research Fund, to make this trip a financially viable trip for me, a little bit of fundraising is also required. The perks of donating a specific amount is listed on the side and I'm providing some very neat perks!
Through this experience, I will get to learn much more about organic farming practices in Bolivia while parterning up with a real NGO, applying what I have been studying in Developmental Economics to create real, tangible difference in these people's lives.
Thank you so much!
