Internally displaced people are people who left their homes for safety. Unlike refugees, they have not crossed a border and are still within their own country. The reasons for their flight may be the same, but they are still under the protection of their country’s government, even if that government caused their displacement. This can make these people particularly vulnerable. So we create partnerships with the internally displaced communities in other to..

1 Finance projects to maintain livelihoods and to strengthen community-based institutions, focusing on “stable parts of unstable countries.

2 Address long-term development challenges, as well as scale up service delivery and facilitate a transition from relying on humanitarian aid to utilizing country systems.

3 Promote self-reliance and access to jobs, create opportunities through private sector investment, provide adequate education services, and modernize social protection systems to humanitarian contexts.
