Hello Supporters,

This letter is to announce that Erudition Prep Inc. a 501 © 3 non-profit organization seeking the assistance of the community to help youth and the Inter-generation community members, by offering computer training skills development. Erudition Prep is an Inter-generational Learning Center. Still, Erudition Prep. Inc. plans to initiate a massive inter-generational computer training Learning Center in the city of Cleveland to start on or about July, 2016. This training initiative will begin with securing funding for the rehabilitation of the building site, but will take resources of $30,000 in Information Technology Infrastructure. So therefore, we ask you to assist us with fiscal and or in kind donations to further our purposes.

The Organization's primary mission is to help Cleveland residents of all ages become computer literate and proficient in a safe and welcoming environment. Erudition Prep is dedicated to providing the facilities, technology, and training that will enable students to develop computer skills, while becoming responsible participants in the global online community. Erudition Prep has a goal of assisting over 6,000 individuals in need of computer training in its first year of operations. We believe, that at the present time: we are to become part of the solution creating digital technology opportunities in the City of Cleveland for generations to come.

LOCATION & ANALYSIS

Erudition Prep's computer learning center will be located in Cleveland Ohio., The organization will renovate the exiting one-story structure, adding a second story for more classrooms and offices after completely remodeling the first floor and lower (basement) level. The center will mostly consist of computer classrooms, offices, meeting rooms and open areas, in addition to a from lobby and kitchen. The existing structure is 5,166 square feet with a 95 percent total occupancy. With the addition of the second floor, the locations square footage will expand to 7,588 square feet. The location also maintains eight parking spots one of which is handicap.

MARKET NEED

Erudition Prep's founders strategically scouted a facility in the heart of one Cleveland's most economically disadvantaged areas and a former Empowerment Zone. With 35.4% of the total population living in poverty and a 54% child poverty rate, Cleveland provides a deserving market in need of free services. The Cleveland Metropolitan School District's free meal program is prime example of the city's level of need. Thus, free comp0uter training courses will not only provide vital life and professional skills to Cleveland residents, but also empower them with the ability to access instant communication and information.

DEMOGRAPHIC OVERVIEW

With a total population of 392,256, Cleveland offers a large amount of potential students for Erudition Prep. Cleveland's high unemployment rate (7.1%) and disproportionate amount of low income households as compared to the country as a whole, proves the area's need for access to free education, specifically education that can help improve employment opportunities, like computer literacy training. The tables below outline genera statistics of Cleveland's population and income levels as compared with the United States as a whole further reiterating the community's need for free services.
