It all began in 2016, when Sokha and his wife taught English in their home. What started off as informal sessions for just 3 kids grew to a school with 3 classes of varying age groups.
The Ponlok of Hope School, a Christian School situated at Pouk district of Siem Reap, Cambodia, is the second home to 73 youths and children. It is their safe haven where they learn English througout the week, and learn guitar in Sunday school. Unfortunately, the school cannot provide them with much else materialistically, as they lack resources to provide the children with even the most basic tools of learning, such as notebooks and textbooks. Despite heaps of unforeseeable challenges, Sokha is determined to keep the school going, firmly believing that education provides for the children spiritually and intellectually, promising them a bright future.
Sokha and his wife is now expanding their school to a nearby village. This is where you come in. They have managed to raise USD1050, but need a boost from you to prepare land to build the school. Help them armour more children with knowledge as their sword and integrity as their shield in the treacherous world. Don’t allow distance stop you from helping these young ones.
