This project installs an access in the remote area of Maducayan, Mt. Province through this motorcycle path project to reach the neglected villagers providing for educational, health, economic developments and the spiritual and emotional well-being of the area. Maducayan is a hometown of many successful people in the country who have finished their education despite the slim chances and difficulties natural for rural areas. Some of the villagers however, who have opted to stay in their hometown, were never able to utilize the potential and promise of this utopian place. Without roads and access for transportation, there is not even a high school institution nor a medical clinic in the area. Despite abundant harvests, farmers can only carry on their backs what they can to sell to the nearest market. Church workers, educators, and medical personnel have to walk and hike a very long way just to reach people. Thus, people would rather leave their hometowns and live in other places. Instead of waiting for government aid to build their roads, installing a road access through this motorcycle path project will provide them a simple transportation to move people, products and development for the area. The people from Maducayan will now be able to visit their hometown easier and villagers would no longer have to leave home and leave families. This operation with the partrnership of the NGO, concerned people for Maducyan, the Barangay and community, along with the volunteer workers such as the army, engineering brigade and other concerned people will clear a five kilometer path from Apatan to Amibagaton Maducayan, Natonin Mt. Province with at least 1 meter in width. It will require clearing, leveling and grading of the path passing through rice fields, forest and rivers. The project also requires building of at least two bridges over rivers and three more bridges along crucial areas utilizing the resources already existing in the area. If we provide for the materials needed for the construction and feed the volunteer workers, we will enable motor cycles, horses, carabaos and other mode of transportation to carry people, products and development to Maducayan.
