"My name is Mark Pearson. In 2015 I was arrested after being falsely accused of an impossible sex crime at Waterloo Station in London. CCTV images clearly showed I was innocent. Unbelievably, I was charged, even though there was no evidence other than the false allegation against me, and I was put on trial last year. The jury took only 90 minutes to find me not guilty.
I now hold the police force who tried to frame me to account, and the Crown Prosecution Service who colluded with them. A successful IPCC complaint by Barnett Survivors Limited instigated a new investigation and this is helping to build a legal case against those responsible. Something has gone wrong with the way the police and the Crown Prosecution Service are assessing such allegations generally and it's time somebody challenged them. My personal funds are limited though, so if you could contribute in any way I would be very grateful. But this isn’t just for me, it is for ALL victims of false allegations, whoever and wherever they are."
Mark Pearson talking on ITV's 'This Morning' following his trial and exoneration last year.
"Mr Pearson's case is emblematic of all the cases my company works, a key female abuser weapon of gaslighting services against a male victim with a false sexual allegation. We are supporting Mark in his quest for justice, an innocent man persecuted by services intent on sending him to prison. Anyone who is appalled by his treatment and believes it discredits genuine victims should support this campaign, to encourage both social and infrastructural change.
All abuse is about power and control, and female abusers achieve their power by playing the victim. False allegations have terrible consequences for both the victim and their families, and bringing obviously false matters to trial is an enormous waste of time and public money, as well as being an appalling insult to genuine victims. Too often, "he" means abuser or rapist, and "she" means victim, and female perpetrators like the one in Mark's case are able to exploit that myth very easily."
- James Barnett, Director of Barnett Survivors Limited
Barnett Survivors Limited is launching this campaign to raise legal funds for its client Mr Mark Pearson. We have undertaken an IPCC complaint on Mr Pearson's behalf, alleging perverting the course of justice, which was upheld in June 2017. Ongoing updates as to further progress will be provided on the campaign page as the case proceeds.

Wish I could give more. Been through similar things and been on the other side (actual attack and abuse) but the CPS refused to prosecute. (KE2001) There is something seriously wrong.

Phase 2 begins
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 05:42 pmThe Crown Prosecution Service have unsurprisingly attempted to whitewash and deflect serious complaints made on Mark's behalf, first by using a person we were complaining about and then by a person linked to the British Transport Police. We will now seek to address this cronyism in court, because quite patently, Mark's
A key development
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 08:38 pmWe have been unable to make a new campaign update until now, exactly three years to the day since James Barnett, the director of Barnett Survivors Limited, met with detectives to begin a reinvestigation into Mark's case.We are pleased to announce, that following protracted negotiations, the British Transport Police have. . . . .
Spring 2019 update
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 07:25 amDue to the system essentially trying to make Mr. Pearson's matter go away, we have been forced to break that impasse by escalating it and for legal reasons we cannot describe how or when or what; suffice to say it is a mistake to underestimate us or our resolve in
Further IOPC complaint
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 08:25 amSadly we have been forced to make a second IOPC appeal and complaint in Mr. Pearson's case, which is unfortunate given the progress already made historically and the understanding we had with certain officers. However, negotiations were not proceeding in a satisfactory manner, so we step away from those for
Police admission and offer
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 04:19 pmFollowing the delivery of the reinvestigative report (that this company partially drove and oversaw), the police now admit misconduct and wish to make Mr Pearson a financial compensation offer, without prejudice. Barnett Survivors Limited has made a counter offer in the best interests of its client, Mr Pearson, ahead of
Shouldn't be too much longer
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 01:23 pmHave recently received notification from detectives working Mark's reinvestigation that they are due to deliver their findings within the next few weeks. From the very outset, Barnett Survivors Limited has pushed for criminal charges against anyone who or anything that has broken the law.

Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 07:56 amFounder and Director of Barnett Survivors Limited, James Barnett, is due to meet with police in London on Halloween, the 31st October, to tell them what to do when it comes to reinvestigating the attempted miscarriage of justice against Mark, especially the evidence against the CPS, who are essentially in
Due to be meeting officers to steer reinvestigation very soon
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 06:18 pmFounder and director of Barnett Survivors Limited James Barnett will be meeting with two detectives to brief them and to steer the reinvestigation into the debacle around Mark's case, and the attempted miscarriage of justice at the heart of it. Will be motivating them in particular to look into a
Why this campaign is not focussing on the female perp that falsely accused Mark
Update posted by Barnett Survivors Limited at 07:55 pmIt has been asked why this campaign is not directed solely at the woman who made the false accusation against Mark. The first thing to say is she *will* be dealt with in due course. She is just one perpetrator, however, and if the campaign only focussed on her, this will not. . . . .

My 80 yr old dad went through a crown court case based on a ridiculous case that any half-wit (Police/CPS) could / should have investigated easily and seen there was no case to answer. Historic sexual abuse claim over 40 yrs old which the jury quickly delivered a unanimous not guilty verdict. The Police & CPS need to be held to account. Good luck with your case mark.

CPS fail to progress violence and robbery cases - in my own case - even though there is overwhelming evidence in the same way as false accusers are hidden in plain sight. Disgusting. Must be held to account and the heads must roll.
