My name is Morgan. I am 26 years old. I live in Southern Louisiana. And I am in a horrible position. I have been working as an industrial pipefitter for 8 years now. I was recently in a horrible car accident which has left me unable to work back in the industrial field until I am given a release from my doctor. The doctor won't do so until I finish my rehab which will not be until November 1st. I have been getting a disability check which isn't even a quarter of my traditional weekly salary and it has caused me to fall behind on all of my bills. I know I will be back at work starting in November to be able to pay for all my traditional funding but for now I am at risk of my water being shut off on Thursday, October 10 ($145.73 past due), electricity October 24th ($287 past due). I have not even been able to go to the grocery. I eat one meal a day (dinner) which is soup, because it costs $5 for a big box and I applied for food stamps but the state denied me because of my usual annual income. I can not ask for a donation of $500. I pray to God every day that I will soon be released from my doctor but every day it is a struggle to keep the utilities from being turned off. I have raised $40 from asking family and friends and have ran out of resources. If I was granted this one donation of $200 it will at least keep the water turned on and allow me to pay 1/4 of my electricity. Anything that anyone can do for me helps. Even $2 helps someone in my position. Thank you for taking the time to read my post! God bless!
