MISSION & PROGRAMMES

The “Initiative for Global Health Promotion” (The Initiative) is a global Non-Governmental Organisation headquartered in West Africa. The choice of West Africa, apart from its position as the most populous black nations in the world, the area is also known for its virtually non-existent healthcare system despite its huge poor population and great needs. The Initiative’s objective in the main is to promote good health generally and to do the work of narrowing down inequalities in health and healthcare, it’s availability, affordability, and the current prevailing gaps between the rich and the affluent of the nations, vis-a-vis the poor and the indigent masses in all parts of the globe, especially in the underdeveloped world.

Our mission includes:

The maiden project - “Global Health (including mental health) Promotion Through Specialist Health Radio Broadcasts, Public Health Campaigns & Supported Living Centres” (GHPI) is currently running all aspects of the initiative, albeit with very meagre financial resources from the personal savings of its directors through the implementing organisation (I-O). It has been financially challenging but rewarding in outlook and actual outcomes within such a short period of the project’s birthing.
